Objective
The 17th International conference on Nuclear Tracks in Solids, will take place in Dubna in August 1994. Mr. V.P. Perelygin is the Chairman of the Dubna Organising Committee and at present President of INTS. The scientific programme of the conference will emphasise, besides all basic aspects of track science, the application of Solid State Nuclear Track Detectors (SSNTD's) and of track science in different fields such as physics, life sciences, environment, earth sciences, space and technology.
For a long time, scientists from the NIS have performed research in the above fields, using the track technique. In the past, they have had only limited chances to present their results outside the NIS. And until now, they have not had sufficient contacts to find partners outside the NIS to perform joint research projects.
This project will enable scientists from the NIS to participate in the conference, thus promoting the circulation of scientific and technical information and the generation of projects in which scientists from the NIS and scientists from the member states of INTAS will collaborate.
