Exploitable results
Main results were achieved as follows:
The scientific basis for HIP of complex 3D shape multi-component parts was developed;
Two process models-rigid plastic and elasto-plastic with ellipsoidal "plasticity cap" were selected enabling to simulate all the necessary shape distortion effects revealed theoretically and practically;
New simulation methods and appropriate software based on the ABAQUS program complex and FE numerical code were developed and successfully verified;
Practical technique for manufacturing by HIP of functionally sophisticated as well as geometrically complex parts was developed;
Different complex shape demonstrators for critical application were developed and manufactured for further implementation into industry.
