Objective
The objective of this project is the development of complex and industrial application oriented components for wireless microwave system and radio and basic research on superconducting microwave and infrared devices). The following steps will be performed:
Production and optimisation of double side HTS films on large strates,
needed for complex microwave devices.
Making practical HTS microwave switches, digital phase shifters and filters
for microwave systems operating in the frequency band 1-20 GHz.
Superconducting phonon-cooled hot electron bolometer mixers
Study of optical /microwave interactions in HTS films and development of
optically controlled microwave HTS components.
Practical implementation of superconducting junction devices in
radio-astronomy
Besides the research fields mentioned above, efforts also will be concentrated in making electrically tuneable components based on integrated HTS/Ferroelectric components and on industrial implementation of the results.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
