Objective
The proposed project is aimed at the forming of new methodology and the development advanced software for the visualization and animation in virtual environment of:
the relativistic string dynamics,
related topics from differential geometry and topology. The research plan includes:
the visualization of:
-typical processes in exotic string sector,
-singular points on closed (O-shaped) strings,
-singular points on barionic (Y-shaped) strings,
integration of all applications for string visualization into a single
complex and the development of convenient user interface to it,
study the transmutation processes between the strings of described
topological types,
presentation of research results as video-films and virtual scenes,
displaying the string dynamics and related topics in topology and
differential geometry. The results of the research will found direct implementations in theoretical physics and can be used for the construction of realistic models of elementary particles. The software and methodology developed during research can be applied in wide range of problems in scientific visualization, where the production of high-quality images of topologically non-trivial objects is required. The video-films and virtual scenes, proposed for the development, can be used also in educational process.

Topic(s)
Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
