Objectif
A broad collection of Moldavian grape cultivars including seedless cultivars of Moldavian selection is an excellent basis for breeding of new economically effective seedless cultivars with cold and drought hardness resistance for growing in Central Europe. For effective using of these cultivars and development of novel seedless cultivars, new data about genetic polymorphism of parental genomic regions affecting seedlessness and some resistance traits will be obtained. Markers available from public data bases and new markers will be developed to accelerate selection of cold and drought resistance complementing thereby classical breeding methods combined with in vitro culture rescue of immature embryos.
