Increasing the awareness on INNOvation in the European CONStruction sector

Objective

The INNOCONS project aims to assist European construction SMEs to improve their technological standing point, and to facilitate the international co-operation with other SMEs and technological centres or universities. So as to achieve such a major goal, members of the INNOCONS consortium will foster the participation of these firms in innovative projects under the scope of the European Commission initiatives. To reach this goal, relevant actions will be carried out to identify specific needs of SMEs belonging to the construction sector, analyse their capabilities, and inform them of the chances of participating in RTD projects, and directing them towards the most suitable Community instrument for such participation. After these brief instructions, INNOCONS members will assist these SMEs during their project definition and proposal preparation.
