Technologies for FREE TIME

Objective

The project aims to provide SMEs in all tourist related sectors with relevant support and information on how to address their needs by participating in Community RTD programmes and guide them towards the most suitable Community instrument. To achieve these results, existing information networks, services and trans-national networks of intermediaries (IRCs, National Contact Points of the Innovation and SMEs Programme, BICs), research and technology transfer centres as well as an industrial federation will be used. The main objective of this proposal is to increase competitiveness of SMEs in this domain by clarifying their specific technological and economic needs, match them with the offer of innovative supply industry and, where possible, help them to meet those needs by guiding them towards participation in the most suitable Community RTD programmes
