European SMEs challenge in the MOBIle telecommunications TECHnologies

Objective

This proposal outlines a 18-months programme to boost the SME participation in the 5th Framework Programme according to the ETI guidelines, with the goal to enhance their presence in the mobile telecommunication sector. After an overall state-of-the-art of the new technology offer, and an analysis of the market demand, both present and in trends, Mobitech will establish direct relationships with a large number of European SMEs to evaluate their technology needs to better reply to the market requirements, becoming more innovative and more competitive. The process to reach this objective will be based on the promotion of the 5th FP actions and in assisting SMEs in their participation in 5th FP actions. Mobitech will focus on mobile telecommunication market, ensure SMEs involvement to the project through the European Federation of High-Tech SMEs and consider as a priority the field work directly in contact with SMEs.
