Objective
By establishing a dynamics between neighbouring regions in the field of creation of innovative firms and intending to go beyond the cultural border and university specificities, our purpose is to enable the companies started in the different incubators to reach as soon as possible a European state of development, by introducing this European aspect in the first steps of their conception.
We want to:
- Offer project leaders the opportunity to achieve a personalised itinerary across the three incubation places (with Training Units and Personal Accompaniment), which will enable them to build their strategy , from the very beginning, in terms of international development, at the minimum scale of a crossboarder region;
- Put them in relation with the relevant networks of the different European areas, and enable their future company to be clearly identified and referenced in those areas;
- Provide them with an access to the resources of each incubation site.
Expected results:
Concerning the creators
* Introduction of the European aspect in the preparation of the candidate's business plans;
- Richness and completeness of the training units for creators (panel of contributors, visits);
- Strengthening, increased viability and durability of the new companies: broadening of their markets, growth perspectives, economic intelligence, number of jobs created, agencies of the company set up in the different areas (in the long term).
On a general economical point of view, our proposal is clearly dealing with the Universities reinforcing their ability to commercially exploit the results of their own research, with the purpose of:
Creating new innovative companies, increasing their number, increasing their viability and the number of corresponding jobs created concerning methods to set up incubators, the program we propose to achieve aims at a mutual validation and adjustment of the approaches, methods and tools.
We aim at:
- Testing the relevance of our practices in the reality of business creation and by means of concrete student exchange programs;
- Creating a system of communication between the incubation sites, and tools to organise the spreading of original ideas;
- Setting up an observatory which enables us to put forward complementarities and similarities between our different systems;
- Check adaptability of the program to other European regions (dissemination).
Concerning business creation in the concerned areas, the growing influence of the university incubation system and the beginning of a European networking should be a very attractive element for private investments.
