Objective
The Lift2 project is to be carried out in the framework of the specific programme for research, technological development and demonstration on promotion of innovation and encouragement of SME participation.
This accompanying measure is part of an overall initiative supported by the European Commission, integrating other thematic networks, accompanying measures and services in the field of access to private innovation financing and tools for better knowledge management, and collectively known as "the gate2growth initiative". The objective of this project is first of all to conduct awareness and assistance actions in the field of linking innovation, finance and technology. The specific objectives of the project are to provide efficient information, promotion and networking facilities at transnational level, in support of innovation finance assistance measures at local or regional level which help potential business developers to identify and secure transnational investment/finance.
Work Plan description:
WP1: Promotion of the entire gate2growth initiative to EC RTD participants and organisation of a help line for EC RTD participants on the gate2growth initiative;
WP2: Promotion of the entire gate2growth initiative network of regional partners, specifically targeted to NAC and to potential EC RTD participants - tasks performed at central level;
WP3: Promotion of the entire gate2growth initiative network of regional partners, specifically targeted to NAC and to potential EC RTD participants - tasks performed by each of the regional partners;
WP4: Train-the-trainers for transfer of the experience gained from the LIFT pilot project and for promotion of the entire gate2growth initiative;
WP5: Business plan assessment methodologies;
WP6: Assessment of Acts database from the current LIFT pilot project for integration as a tool within the WP3 network of regional operators;
WP7: Co-ordination and integration of LIFT2 activities with the entire gate2growth initiative;
WP8: Promotion of the entire gate2growth initiative alongside existing events/exhibitions;
WP9: Organisation of national promotion events for the overall gate2growth initiative;
WP10: Organisation of a number of 'gate2growth venture academy;
WP11: Administrative contract co-ordination.
