Objective
STRATEGI.ST is an Accompanying Measure submitted under the "Innovation and SME" Programme and developed within the scheme of the "Cluster support measures" to accompany clusters of projects. The Action is aimed at the provision of "non technical" support to Clusters of 10 R&D innovation projects to help define, co-ordinate and integrate strategies within and towards the Cluster and enhance efficacy of projects, foster dissemination of results and draw best practices for a sustainable development of projects. STRATEGI.ST will have a very flexible nature: a "Black box" to address different clusters focused on various thematic areas having as common feature, the achievement of sustainability scenarios. The application of the methodology will be rendered easily adaptable to projects and local contexts to provide a "modular" tool to be shared and transferred.
Main objectives:
A)Provide a future vision for projects by emphasising the "soft side" of innovation (the socio-economic, environmental impact of technology solutions)
B).Identify impediments and factors of success of the projects towards sustainable innovation and social technologies.
C).Compare European experiences and activate potential fall-out for co-ordinated strategies and integration of additional aims and values for projects in the Cluster in terms of sustainable schemes and social innovation patterns.
D).Provide a "Black box" support to the Cluster helping the projects to penetrate the socio-political, cultural and productive fabric of the EU.
E).To follow-up the project which can exploit outcomes of applying the methodology to make corrections/adaptation in the projects to match innovation solutions with thesocio-economic, environmental needs.
Expected outcomes:
a)methodology for the co-ordinate development of strategies by integrating project objective to be transferred by Best Practices and dissemination methods.
b)4 scenarios built for each project containing a simulated implementation of the projects or part of them for the purposes of the EASW participation laboratories.
c) 1 Workshop for each project using the EASW.
Three milestone will be provided:
M1:Project kick-off meeting;
M2: Cluster Mapping;
M3: General Seminar Celebration
