Reusable GEneric cOmponents for the development of high-speed DAta acquisition and analysis Systems

Objective

The objective of GEODAS project is the development of Reusable Generic Components for facilitating a low-cost and quick deployment of Data Acquisition and Analysis Systems (DAAS), requiring management of high data volumes in real-time. Trials on different application fields will be developed to demonstrate the actual applicability of software components on real scenarios with particular emphasis on software quality.

Objectives:
The main technical objective of this project is the development of Reusable Generic Components for the implementation of scalable domain-specific data acquisition and analysis systems, requiring management of high data volumes under real-time constraints. With regard to key action "Real-time systems", the project promotes the development of tools for compute-intensive real-time applications, including innovative approaches to signal representation and coding. The project aims to provide: acquisition electronics independence, performance management facilities, operation management, scalability, platform independence, real-time performance, and high data volumes management. This flexible solution is not available in the market.
