Objective
The project supports working teams distributed over different cultural and geographic areas in planning and executing typical projects in the consulting/agency sector. The different players, i.e. the customer, main contractor, the sub-contractors and suppliers access the same system to organise and manage their project work.
Reference models for project organisation and modular software system structures have been developed. Two prototype systems are implemented and evaluated through real world pilot scenarios. The final system uses widely accepted Internet standards to realise inter-organisational information flow and management.
The objectives behind this approach are to present to European SMEs an affordable and easy to use Internet-based system in order to increase their competitiveness in the global marketplace. Companies from the media and/or consulting sector, which typically work in networks will particularly benefit by saving travelling and communication costs.
Parts of the final DYNOCA prototype systems are exploited through the products GLONZ and ISIKnowledge, which are the commercial products of Artundweise GmbH (Germany) and ISO Informatique (France) respectively.
1. Framework model of processes found in the consultancy / agency sector
2. Framework model for Internet based software systems to support distributed teams
3. Two prototype systems, which have been proven in pilot applications
