Objective
Objectives:
Smart IS AM - is a support measure resulting from European Smart Card industry Association (Eurosmart) initiative, which aims to demonstrate the relevance of smart card systems and security techniques to foster the development in Europe of these areas and e-commerce in general.
Work description:
It will provide a unique co-operative framework to promote standards and guarantee interoperability of smart cards security systems to be used for E-Commerce and New Transactional Information Systems (TIS).
The Smart IS AM project will set-up working groups and initiate a cross-industry, cross-sector thematic network developing co-operative studies between users and manufacturers, promoting a standard smart card solution to authenticate Internet end-users, and disseminating obtained results in related IT conferences.
