Objective
The project intends to establish application services for small and medium enterprises on a lease or subscription basis. The project will implement a Thin-Client/Server Computing (TCSC) approach. That means all ASP applications shall be found on central server systems, and be accessed via the INTERNET or other WAN connections.
The demand for band width per single user will be low and will make it possible to allow a significantly greater number of users active access to the server, with unchanged capacity / efficiency of their WAN connection. Thus the project targets to offer SMEs a better coverage of their IT requirements as regards simplicity, performance and costs.
