Objective
To modify the Gamma 60 Data Acquisition system in order to have results that well compare to the ones from the other large wind turbines of the WEGA project.
The work program covers the activities necessary to overcome the significant differences between Gamma 60 and the other machines of WEGA project from the instrumentation standpoint; this is particularly interesting because Gamma 60, characterized by special operational features, has dimensions that are similar to the machines of the WEGA project, making it interesting to have data comparable, both by format and kind.
The work program include four groups of tasks:
1)Installation of a second anemometric mast and of the related sensors;
2) Modification to the original Data Acquisition system in order to include the new wind sensors;
3) Modification to the original Data Acquisition System in order to include some sensors not foreseen in the basic design;
4) Modification to the original Data Acquisition System in order to support the preprocessing of data following the requirements from WEGA.
Besides these specific groups of tasks participation to the WEGA coordination meetings is also foreseen.
The experimental campaign, not included in the activities of the actual contract, will follow, after commissioning and start-up of the machine.

Funding Scheme
Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
