IMPROVEMENT OF STABILITY AND DURABILITY OF WOOD SPECIES BY MEANS OF IMPREGNATION PROCESSES

Objective

TO REINFORCE THE EFFICIENCY OF IMPREGNATION PROCESSES WHILE EXTENDING ITS APPLICATION FIELD.

A PRELIMINARY PROCESS IMPROVEMENT WITH A TECHNICAL CHARACTER WILL BE SEEKED WHILE VARYING THE COMPOSITION OF THE IMPREGNATION SOLUTION; DIFFERENT KINDS OF TANNIN, EITHER NATURAL OR SYNTHETIC ONES, POSSIBLY CHEMICALLY MODIFIED, WILL BE INJECTED INTO BEECH ELEMENTS.
ANOTHER IMPROVEMENT WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED AT THE LEVEL OF THE SIMULTANEOUS IMPLEMENTATION OF PRESERVATION AND STABILIZATION TREATMENTS. NEW PRESENTATIONS OF BIOCID PRODUCTS WILL BE STUDIED AND TESTED, WHICH GIVE ALL THE GUARANTEES OF COMPATIBILITY WITH THE STABILIZATION SOLUTION AND ARE HEAT-RESISTANT.
A THIRD IMPROVEMENT WILL BE SOUGHT THROUGH THE SETTING UP OF AN INJECTION TECHNIQUE LIKELY TO ENABLE THE TREATMENT OF ELEMENTS WITH A GREAT SECTION, AMONG OTHERS IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE PROFITABILITY OF THE PROCESS.
