Objective
THE REALIZATION OF AN INTERACTIVE SOFTWARE PACKAGE FOR :
- GEOSTATISTICS AND AUTOMATIC MAPPING,
- DATA ANALYSIS.
SEVERAL DATA PROCESSING SYSTEMS FOR MINERAL PROSPECTION AND ORE RESERVE ASSESSMENT HAVE BEEN RECENTLY DEVELOPED BY THE "LABORATOIRE INFORMATIQUE ET ANALYSE DES DONNEES", ENSG-NANCY, AND THE "CENTRE DE GEOSTATISTIQUE ET DE MORPHOLOGIE MATHEMATIQUE", ENSM-PARIS.
SOFWARE OACKAGES FOR AUTOMATIC PLOTTING SUCH AS CARTOLAB, GEOSLIB, BLUEPACK WILL BE INCORPORATED INTO A MAINFRAME FILTING SYSTEM CALLED GEOL. SUBROUTINES ON ORE RESERVES ASSESSMENT AND GEOCHEMICAL DATA ANALYSIS ARE TO BE DEVELOPED AND WILL COMPLETE THIS FILTING SYSTEM.
INTERACTIVE COMMUNICATION WITH THE COMPUTER MAKES THIS SYSTEM PARTICULARLY USER FRIENDLY.
