Switch Solar Water Integrated Thermal Cooling and Heating Systems

Objective

In order to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emission, the goal of this project is to develop an integrated assisted commercial solar system for the heating and cooling and hot water production for individual building. The first objective is to give to technical engineers a set of designed tools able to design an optimised complete system in order to reduce the costs, with commercial certified components. The second objective is to develop a generic smart controller, able to manage all the energy systems, and to dialog with other control systems. The economic objective is that the whole system, design costs and cooling function included, would be installed for a less than 15000 euros global cost. The potential estimated market for such a complete system is 50000 up to 2006 in Europe with an energy saving estimation of about 250 GWh/year.
