Sustainable Social Housing Refurbishment Technologies

Objective

The SSHORT project aims at increasing rational end efficient end use of energy in retrofit;
- Associate with the SSHORT project building professionals, social house owners and inhabitants in order to target their needs and requirements towards retrofit;
- Investigate selected energy solutions which are today most promising towards energy consumption decrease and renewable energy use in refurbishment;
- Validate selected solutions feasibility by demonstrating them in retrofit of social houses located in three different parts from Europe (North, Middle and South);
- Promote satisfying sustainable energy solutions within building professionals, social house owners and ingabitants;
- Provide refurbishment professionals with tools to help them in integrating satisfying solutions from project and choosing the most adequate solution for refurbishment.
