Objective
Objectives are to:
- Scale-up and implement complete 2 stage biomass fuelled gasification CHP plant of 1MWe in Greece & Denmark;
- Prove gasifier fuel versatility;
- Demonstrate techno-economic feasibility to cogenerate H&P from biomass at medium size, meeting market needs & reliability and the energy efficiency & operational performance of the stage gasification technology for electricity;
- Optimise heat recovery from the CHP unit through the combination of steam for process use & hot water for district heating;
- Realise a reference plant for the European market for the cotton & wood industry & for the exports of CHP biomass technologies;
- setup a new turn key service for the production of energy from biomass in rural area;
- Establish a partnership, by clustering EU projects, between the private &public sectors for the valorisation of local.
