AN ADVANCED WELL TEST ANALYSIS PACKAGE

Objective

To produce a Numerical well test analysis program by combining a conventional well test analytic program with a proven reservoir simulator (Eclipse) employing Perpendicular Bisector grids. The use of PEBI grids in this context is innovative.
Weltest 200 consists of a fully functional conventional well test analysis program offering state of the art analytic models in addition to automatic coupling to the Eclipse Black Oil Simulator.
The project proceeded in 3 phases : Structural Design, Basic Prototype and User Interface, Advanced Prototype over New User Interface.
Structural Design :
Work out details of communication between Eclipse and Well test regression package Basic Prototype and User Interface :
Test concept with existing Weltest 100 program and build a new user interface to gather Eclipse input. Advanced Prototype :
Place Eclipse under new user interface version of Weltest 100 and proceed to build into a functional Numerical Well Test Analysis Program.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
