Objective
OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS The overall aim of this project is to assess the technical and economical feasibility of intensive culture of pike-perch.
A number of specific objectives can be distinguished:
* The market-potential of intensively reared pike-perch will be established for fingerlings (restocking) and consumption-sized fish
* The costs of production of fanning pike-perch, using a recirculation system or a flow-through system for production, will be established
* The production of pike-perch will be optimised by research on reproduction, fingerling production and ongrowing
