Esao 2002, xxix conference european society for artificial organs (ESAO 2002)

Objective

The proposal is to support the 29th Conference of the European Society for Artificial Organs (ESAO 2002). The emphasis will be on "state of art" clinical aspects of artificial organs and will focus on a fascinating topic, "Bridging to Regeneration". ESAO 2002 will bring together experts of biotechnology and bioengineering from all over the world. The congress includes pre-congress symposia and working group meetings, invited lectures, round table discussions, peer reviewed communications and poster presentations. Topics include: Artificial Kidney, Liver, Pancreas, Skin, Biomaterials and Biocompatibility, Artificial Organs & Hybrid Systems, Extra corporal Blood purification, Cell & Tissue Engineering, Scaffolds & Cell therapy, Artificial Cardiovascular Prostheses, Cardiac Assist Devices & Artificial Heart, Extra- corporal Circulation, Heart Valves, Stents & Vascular Prostheses, Ethical Aspects, EU Research Proposals.
