Identification and characterization of factors involved in cyp3a4 inter-individual variability

Objective

Cytochrome P450 3A4 bio transforms many xenobiotics in human liver and has a highly variable expression. Identification of the genetic factors underling this variability is a key step in the prevention of fatal adverse drug reactions and carcinogen sis.
