Objective
Preparation of an overview of the (legal) possibilities for public information and participation within the framework of national regulations on deliberate release into the environment of GMO in European countries, and to make an overview of the views of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) on these possibilities. Organisation of a two-day workshop for approximately 40 participants to have an exchange of views on the ways in which public information and participation disorganised by Competent Authorities (CAB) and is utilised by NGOs and by the public in Western, Central and Eastern European countries.
