Objective Using immunoelectron microscopy and the FRET technique, this study will explore the spatial association between transmitter transporters and heterotrimeric G-proteins at the membrane of diverse secretory vesicles, which is a critical prerequisite for a functional interaction of these molecules and test the physiological relevance of the findings.
