Objective
This project is designed to stimulate the contribution of Consumer Science to Key action 1. A database of all active researchers, and ongoing research programmes will be established. The major activity will be a professionally facilitated workshop designed to catalyse a more visible, coherent, innovative and widely discipline-based consumer science community, and provide input to a consumer consensus-building platform. The training needs for the next generation of consumer scientists will be defined, and a strategic overview prepared of European consumer science as a test case of a European Research Area according to the evolving proposal of Commissioner Bosque
