International symposium on food factory for the future

Objective

An international symposium on the Food Factory of the Future is to be arranged in Gothenburg, Sweden, 27-29 June, 2001. The symposium will bring together experts, from industry, academia and institutes and will highlight the development of new food manufacturing technologies for the food factory for the future. The symposium will also discuss food R&D directions for the future. A high proportion of young researchers among the participants will be aimed for. A proceedings volume will be printed and made widely available. The proceedings will also be made available electronically through the web. The project involves the production of proceedings, the execution of the symposium, and the dissemination of information and results from the symposium.
