Lupin-based novel high-protein organic food products

Objective

Within the framework of strategic innovation the prime propose is looking to develop new organic food products that meet the following criteria : -- the products should be exempt from G.M.O.' s- have positive health implications- be highly Novell pin successfully meets these criteria, it has good nutritional qualities and relatively little G.M.O. research has been conducted on this legume. This is of particular importance when considering that it is a suitable candidate for competitions with Soya based products where genetic modification is prolific. The project aims to develop a range of food products with improved functionality and nutritional qualities in order that they can compete with the conventional soy-based products, Soya flour, milk, oil, pastes and TVP (textured vegetable protein). New processing techniques will also be investigated along with optimal farming methods.
