Factors affecting trichothecene mycotoxins production by fusarium species in wheat

Objective

The applicant is a brilliant researcher which graduated brilliantly with maximum quotations. He did his doctorate course (PHD Italian equivalent) at the university of Perugia and he did also very well. He knows English, has good computer skills and published papers dealing with agriculture. He was enthusiastic about his previous short term mission at the John Innes centre and will take great advantage from a new longer training at that centre for learning new molecular techniques that will allow him to continue and my institution to undertake research on wheatear and stem base pathogens and the role of mycotoxins producted by the same pathogens. Dr. Covarelli is daily present in my laboratory since he arrived more than a year ago and our relationship was ideal during the whole period. I believe the applicant belongs to the highest class and mark quality both for intelligence, moral, socialisation and collaboration gift.
