Objective
The project embraces a unique concept in vending foods automatically in hot and chilled forms from deep frozen in less than fifty seconds using a novel system of moving food from a deep freeze storage area in the machine to the consumer via custom built microwave ovens. The purpose of the research into enhances the performance of both the machine and the packaging as follows. Achieve heating and dispensing on a level plane to enable recipes incorporating sauces to be added to the food menus. Install modems and write software to adjust oven heat times, monitor food temperature, and log machine performance parameters and stock levels remotely via digital telecommunications. Install a consumer purchasing system via mobile telephones. Replace chipboard cartons with recycled PET trays incorporating anodal suspected film lining.
