Objective
We wish to implement specific tags where the identification Number of the tag would be duplicated four- times (one per ham of the same animal ) in an OTP (one time programming) technology, i.e. the origin of the four ham would be certified with the animal of origin. On the other hand, the electronic tag would benefit: from a Read/Write section of a few registers. where the producer would be authorised to read and write different information according to the process followed by each individual ham. Innovative also would be our information software that we would place on a handheld PC, operating under a shared system (possibly Windows CE or pocket PC) so that the information is directly available near the animal, and without the recourse of slow and costly remote databases.
