Objective Monogenetic synthetic peptides from the two animal viruses canine provirus and bovine respiratory syncytial virus will be applied as vaccines in the form of lipopeptides. These will be constructed in several different ways including the synthesis of palmitoyl-thioesters and by combinatorial chemistry with the basis in Pam3Cys constructs. Adjuvants and vehicle systems based on quillaja saponins of defined structure converted to ISCOMs will be used as vehicle/adjuvant system for enhanced presentation of the peptides. The lipopeptides will be analysed in great detail by means of advanced analytical technique. Animal experiments including a challenge experiment in target animal.
