Objective
Acidosis and Cohn 's disease are degenerative diseases of unknownetiology, receiving less attention. Lack of conclusive evidence on the implication of mycobacterium to the aetiology of both diseases, lack of a standard method frothier diagnosis and lack of evidence connecting test results, treatment and follow-up, are causing serious problems in prevention, diagnosis and treatment resulting in several thousand cases of deaths and deficiencies all over the world. The central objective of this project is to exploit the etui- pathology of acidosis and Cohn 's disease under the light of mycobacterium implication and improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment. These will be achieved by producing standard procedure for the diagnostic and epidemiological investigation of both diseases, by establishing in a conclusive manner the role of mycobacterium in their pathogenesis, and by combining patient test-result patterns to treatment response.
