Structure analysis based identification of novel anti-hiv drugs

Objective

The present project combines bio informatics approaches with powerful experimental techniques for revealing protein/protein interactions and the efficiency of inhibitor binding with focus on selected HIV proteins. The project includes a novel, massive use of protein structure models for determination of the structural variability of a very large number of mutants, with the aim of developing therapeutic intervention against HIV that can cope with the substantial mutation capability of the virus.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
