Objective
Damage of the intestinal tract and the liver during surgery, schema or oxidation remains partly undetected due to insensitive monitoring. However, the total condition of patients is markedly affected by intestinal and liver disease, ago. By release of end toxins. Therefore, we intend to develop test kits, which specifically measure early damage to these organs in order to allow adequate measures to be taken to avoid further deterioration. To achieve this, specific antigen has to be obtained, several antibodies have to be raised and test kits have to be developed suitable for use in clinical laboratories. Clinical studies should demonstrate the applicability of such tests on patients undergoing cardiac surgery. Finally, distribution and sales have to be arranged.
