Objective
The SME co-ordinator has developed and patented a novel electronic DNA detection technology with application to DNA diagnostic tests. The aim of the Step 2 proposal is to
1. Integrate the electronic sensors in to a format suitable for use with the widely used PCR process
2. Develop a computerised system for control of data interpretation
3. Assess suitable reagent formulations 4. Define types of DNA test material compatible with the process and
5. Develop a system for marketing sensors for automatic control. Intellectual property developed in RTD Step 2 will be adequately protected and exploited.
