Objective
The goal of the initiative is to survey major existing Life Sciences networks, in order to study the needs and feasibility of a global Life Sciences portal. The in-depth analysis of the existing networks will lead to the writing of the specifications of a European portal integrating all the features and requirements most used, in demand or still missing throughout the current regional, national and international networks.
The writing of the portal specifications will be completed with a feasibility study indicating whether the European portal can become financially self-supporting. This study will propose technical alternatives vs sources of financing and will be presented in the format of a business plan.
