Objective
This Proposal pursues the organisation of a Joint United States-European Union Theoretical and Practical Course on Environmental Biotechnology to be held for two weeks in the Facilities of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Granada and in the premises of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in the same city. The Course is a strategic initiative channelled through the Accompanying Measures Program of the 5th FWP, and designed for creating synergy and enhancing collaboration with the US in this important research area. This activity will bring together participating students from both the us and EC members and will strengthen ties between the Environmental Research communities at both sides of the Atlantic.
