Objective
The BALTIC BIOTECH FORUM shall establish a link between the scientific, health care and business community in the biotech/medico field of the Southern Baltic Region. The BALTIC BIOTECH FORUM will be based on the collaboration of BioTechnikum Greifswald and Medicon Valley, both regional initiatives representing the interests of Denmark, Southern Sweden and North-Eastern Germany.
By strengthening the transnational relations between scientific/health care organisations and SME's the BALTIC BIOTECH FORUM aims at the development of business- and application driven thematic networks in the field of life science. It also intends to enhance the dissemination and exploitation of results coming out of KA 3 "Cell Factory".
Conclusions regarding the development of thematic networks, their exploitation and further topics of interest for future actions of the EC shall be drawn in an International Conference at the end of the project.
