Objective

This project will help to shed light on the function of the Yaps proteins in the nervous system and reveal novel cellular pathways to antagonise programmed cell death (apoptosis) in neurons. The data will increase our knowledge about how to counteract neurodegeneration and may foster the development of drug targets for intervention and for treating stroke.
