Expression system for production of chiral hydroxy-compounds by whole cell biotransformation and in -situ extraction with a continuous high-cell-density recycling bioreactor system(BIOTRANS)

Objective

The aim of the project is the development of a new recombinant expression system for an Escherichia coil based cell factory which is favourable for whole cell bio transformations in a continuous fermentation process with an in site two-phase extraction system for the organic stereo-specific product.
