Study of the mechanisms underlying pre-synaptic kainate receptor-mediated long term potentiation (ltp) in the mammalian hippocampus in vitro

Objective

The aim of this project is to study modulation of kainite receptor - mediated synaptic currents by interacting proteins, in order to increase knowledge of the mechanisms by which these receptors contribute to synaptic transmission and plasticity

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
