Objective
Pancreatic transcripts encoded by a region of distal mouse chromosome 6 have been selected to isolate the gene encoding a diabetes associated autoantigen mapping to this region in the nod mouse. These transcripts will be analysed with the aim of characterising this gene and gaining insights in the etiology of type i diabetes.
