Objective
This project would give me the opportunity to learn new methodological skills and concepts in marine toxicology, in a recognised centre of excellence, which will complement the knowledge I have already gained in biochemistry and deep-sea vent biology. I anticipate that this new skills and expertise will have a significant enhancing effect on my future career prospects. They will also provide me the possibility to work in a new and developing research field, while establishing collaborations both within the Southampton Oceanography Centre and at other laboratories in Europe.
