Objective The project intend to do actions from the industry producing adhesives to improve safety of the products that will be used in footwear industry. So the main participants will be Sees producing adhesives although companies in footwear industry using adhesives and companies commercialising adhesives will also play significant role in the project for studies testing the safety and viability of alternative products. This project is so dealing with the environmental and workers health problems caused by the toxicological properties of the actual formulation of adhesives applied in footwear industry and the risk associates to their use and residues production. Final consequence of the project would be proposals of safer alternative formulations and improved residue management.
