Development of origin labbelled products: humanity, innovation and sustainibility

Objective

DOLPHINS are proposed to ease and strengthen the exchanges of the scientific results of European researches on agro-food Origin Labelled Products (Lops). The objectives are those of understanding characteristics, evolution, problems and opportunities for Lops, provide tools for an assessment of public policies concerning Lops, provide relevant recommendations to the EU to support the negotiations regarding the protection and promotion of Lops in the forthcoming Stroud. These objectives will be achieved through the setting-up of a network of scientists carrying out researches on Lops; the activation of dissemination instruments to meet the needs of all the operators involved in Lops (policy-makers, researchers, firms etc.). The main outputs will be a Report noels Characteristics and Opportunities; a Report on policies Effects on Lops; document to support the next WTO Round; a WEB site easing the dissemination.
