Objective
Appropriate communication practices, which we call progressive communication, could help enable individuals, households and groups in rural areas to realise the livelihood opportunities and challenges which surround them and to respond to these in a way which enhances and sustains rural livelihoods. The project will develop a Tran disciplinary and transect oral approach aimed at consolidating awareness of the principles of progressive communication among the most relevant actors involved in rural development processes. To this purpose, the project will work out a blueprint for progressive rural communication practices and an evaluation grid of the impact of private and institutional rural communication.
