Objective
The two-day - Conference "Frontier free Europe for Cereal Research shaping the 6th FP (Framework Programme)" will be organised by the ICC, in particular by its region "ICC Europe". The definition of priorities for the 6th FP and ERA (European Research Area), as well as a better research structure between EU and EU candidate countries, intensifying the existing cross-collaboration in cereal research should be initiated. The position of Europe in international R&D co-operations will be strengthened. The conference will be thoroughly prepared under the leadership of the ICC General Secretariat, by an organising and scientific committee and by eight working groups covering the different aspects across the complete production chain.
